The Summer of Suck

My mother has had two cornea transplants over the last couple of years. Today, she found out she has glaucoma. She's under very good care, but really, this is a bit much. My father has Parkinson's Disease, so the aging process is not treating my parents at all well. To say that it sucks is a major understatement.

The condition that necessitated the cornea transplants is highly hereditary. Bleh.
