Breakneck speed

Bean has a doctor appointment this afternoon and I'm picking her up a bit early from school because, although I remembered that her first soccer practice is tomorrow night, I completely forgot that she might need oh, say, sweatpants since it'll be in the 30s and maybe some cleats and, you know, soccer clothes. Somehow I don't think pink polka-dotted tights, a flippy skirt, cowboy boots and a princess cape will cut it on the soccer field.

Tomorrow and Friday, I get to have some extended "me time". I'm going to a two-day class with Fiona Ellis!!! The cable portion sounds fun, but I'm really looking forward to learning more about fair isle and sweater design (one whole day on how to design your own sweaters!).
